Standard sudoku grids are offered across a range of difficulty settings, from a gentle start through to puzzles for practised solvers. A cell is chosen with a click or tap, then a digit fills it, with pencil marks, an eraser and a hint button alongside. The extra tools take the sting out of mistakes, which helps newer players stick with a hard grid.
